Click the appropriate link and choose “Open” or “Run” in your browsers download manager. After Jitsi has downloaded, the following window should appear.
Click on “Next” and the following window will be displayed.
Scroll down to read the license agreement and, if you agree, choose “I accept the terms in the License Agreement”, then click “Next”. The following window will then appear.
Here you can choose where to install the program on your PC. The default folder is fine for most users, so simply click on “Next”. The following window will then appear.
On this window you can set some additional options for Jitsi. Set these options however you prefer or if you are unsure just leave them as the defaults. When you are done setting options, click on “Next”. The following window will then appear.
Click on “Install” to start the installation process. A Windows User Account Control window may appear asking you to grant permission for the program to install. Enter your administrator password and/or click on “Yes”. Files will then be copied and configured. When the process is complete, the following window will be displayed.
Click on Finish. Depending on what security software you have installed on your PC, the following window may appear.
Make sure to allow Jitsi through your firewall. Click on “Allow Access” and enter your administrator password and/or click on “Yes” if Windows User Account Control prompts you to do so.
Jitsi is now installed and ready for use.
